It probably isn’t hard for you to imagine that a coffee lover like me would also be a hard core “foodie”. My palate is such a diva that if I place anything on it that it doesn’t like it won’t speak to me for days! As a result I am always looking for amazing flavors and when i find something that makes my mouth jump for joy I relish it forever (hope you didn’t miss the condiment joke). All this to say friends that I recently found something worth blogging about that isn’t coffee. Smiling Sauce Company based in Concord, Ma created a sauce called “Zing” that I first tasted on some grilled chicken and my mouth danced like Kevin Bacon. I found myself looking for the jar that contained this magical product and then proceeded to finish the remainder of the “Zing” with nachos. It was truly delicious and my palate thanked me for days however this story doesn’t end here. A couple of mornings later I was waking up on a Saturday and someone offered to make me breakfast. As I placed my fork into my eggs I smelled it! It was “Zing” in my scrambled eggs and it tasted amazing and now its become our go to sauce in the house. For us New Yorkers you find it at Zabars.
